| |
Vishwanath (Vish) Madhugiri is the General Manager and Head of Global Research Alliances at Infosys Technologies Limited. He represents SETLabs, the research and innovation arm of Infosys. He is responsible for creating strategic partnerships for Infosys with various universities, research labs and companies, with the aim of keeping Infosys at the cutting-edge of contemporary technology, creating a positive differentiation for their customers. He also drives non-linear growth strategies for Infosys, and manages the research ecosystem.
Vish was earlier with Cercia, UK, where he was the Global Business Head and Member, Management Board. Cercia is one of the world's leading centres of excellence for developing robust solutions to complex business problems using nature-inspired computational intelligence research techniques.
Vish has over 21 years of experience in software services and financial services marketing and automotive financing and selling, having held senior positions in the automotive, financial services and IT sectors, both in India and the UK. In his earlier roles, Vish was responsible for establishing multiple client engagements in varied geographies spanning the UK, India, US and Europe, and initiating strategic ventures with companies, technology centres and universities, including an EU-funded digital business ecosystem initiative.
At Cercia, Vish managed strategic collaborations with globally respected and innovative companies, including Infosys, in the areas of optimization, data-mining, creative design and machine learning, with the objective of establishing Cercia as the world's leading customer-focused research centre in applied evolutionary / natural computation.
Vish is an invited member of the Lunar Society, UK and the Policy Working Group at the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He was earlier an invited member of the Strategy Implementation Board, UK Trade and Investment, and is Member, UK-India Business Council.
Vish is a regular speaker at international conferences and forums. His most recent talk was at the Judge Business School, Cambridge University, one of the top-ranked business schools globally. |
